The "Empower Sierra Leone" project is an ambitious international initiative developed in partnership with the Be Rose International Foundation (BRIF). This project aims to make a significant and lasting impact on the lives of underserved youth by constructing a state-of-the-art primary school in a disadvantaged community.

This collaboration aims to provide access to quality education to underserved youth who currently lack access to adequate schooling facilities and empower children with the knowledge and skills they need to break the cycle of poverty and achieve their full potential. Our hope is to foster community development by creating a center for learning that benefits not only the students but also their families and the broader community. This global collaboration will facilitate international cooperation and collaboration in addressing educational inequalities and promoting sustainable development.

As the project lead, BRIF, its staff, and volunteers conducted a thorough needs assessment to determine the specific requirements for the school facility and collaborate with architects, engineers, and local construction firms to design and build a modern, environmentally sustainable primary school that meets the highest educational standards. Their team worked tirelessly to develop a culturally sensitive and inclusive curriculum that meets the unique needs of the students, incorporating both local and international elements of STEM education, arts, and life skills. To meet our commitment to excellence, BRIF began hiring and training the best teachers dedicated to nurturing every student's potential.

Collaboration Goals:

• Improved access to education by increasing enrollment and attendance rates among underserved youth in the target community.

• Enhance learning and improve academic performance and educational outcomes for school students.

• Transform the community with positive socio-economic impacts on the community, including improved literacy rates, employment opportunities, and overall well-being.

• Foster global solidarity by strengthening international partnerships and teamwork in addressing educational disparities and fostering global citizenship.

 

In the Be Rose Academy, VISION Inc. and its founders adopted the Green House, in collaboration with another supporter, and deemed it the Green Goddess- Fequiere House. We strive to transform the lives of underserved youth through education. By partnering with the Be Rose International Foundation and various stakeholders, this project aims to create a brighter future for the children, their families, and the entire village while promoting global solidarity in addressing educational inequalities. Together, we are building a foundation for a better world.
